Parmer's Resort

2.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1002)
"We really liked this place! The price was fair for places to stay in the Keys. Beds were very comfortable and room was great, big bathroom which is a plus. The breakfast was also really nice with bagels and english muffin and fresh fruit and muffins. Overall, a very nice place to stay that is only 40 min from Key West with great amenities and friendly staff. Highly recommend. "

Sugar Loaf Lodge

2.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1001)
"The location was excellent, right on the water with a beautiful view. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The only drawback was that the room was listed as “accessible” in the listing. My husband is in a wheelchair, so this is a necessity. Although the room was on the ground floor (a must), the shower was a tub-shower and not accessible to him. We made do, but I would not have booked this room if I had known that he wouldn’t be able to shower."

Barnacle Bed and Breakfast

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (16)
"The location of the property was great and we saw the key deer on property and nearby. The room and bathroom were very nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The beach front area had some trash that needed to be picked up and the home could use some landscaping. We did not stay for the continental breakfast so can not speak to that. Check in was a little challenging; I did not receive the e-mail day before check-in that I was expecting but did receive a phone call. However,...

"Host was super nice with the pie, and it is excellent. Don't get excited about the bikes, though. Not that we were going to use them, but with flat tires and rusty chains, they were nice decoration. "

Old Florida Style, Dockage, Swimming Pool (shared), just 20 miles from Key West

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (39)
"The cottage was clean and well appointed. Loved the little porch to sit in late in the evening or drink coffee in early in the morning. Beds were comfy, shower was not as strong as I like (but I'm spoiled by my home one, so . . . ) Only problem we noted was sometimes the toilet would not refill after flushing - simple fix, but kind of annoying. Pool was much smaller than it looked in the picture, though. Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again!"

Wonderful Chalet, with Terrace & Private Patio – 20 miles from Key West.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (16)
"We were very happy with our stay at this property! It was perfect for a couple! A lot of the properties I looked at were two bedrooms and much more expensive. I was happy to find this one. The gated community was awesome and friendly. The communication with the manager was prompt and helpful. I read some of the reviews complaining about all the "rules". We had ZERO problems with all the rules in the Venture Out Community. It was so quiet and everyone was friendly. We will definitely...
